Concert of Prayer

On Sunday, January 13^th at 5 p.m. we will gather in the sanctuary for a Concert of Prayer.  In keeping with the theme of 2008, we will specifically pray for opportunities to Reach Out and for the individuals we would like to see come to faith in Jesus.  Matthew 18:20 teaches, “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”  What an encouragement to know that the Lord will be with us a in special way when we gather together.  And not only that, we can pray by faith, knowing that our prayers will be heard.  As it says in John 16:24, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”           

With the New Year upon us, let’s start right by uniting as one church to pray for the people God has brought into our lives who have yet to find eternal life.  Prayer is powerful and effective, so plan on being at the concert of prayer, and lifting your list of souls to the Lord.
