Seattle Summer Mission Trip-July 20th-25th, 2008
Known as the Emerald City, Seattle is the beautiful economic capital of the Pacific Northwest and is known for its lush, green surroudings, rich culture, and national businesses such as Starbucks, Microsoft, and Boeing. However, on any given night, as many as eight thousand men and women are sleeping on the city's streets, and as many as a thousand of them are children or young adults. It is also by far one of the least-churched cities in the country.
Working alongside local churches and a mission organization called Experiencing Mission, our team will have the opportunity to make an impact by serving the impoverished, disabled, elderly, and homeless in a variety of ways. We will run a Vacation Bible School for homeless children, deliver food and clothing to the needy, work at a senior center, and serve at the Union Gospel Mission. Africa Mission Trip - October 17-30, 2008
Travel to Uganda with Harbor Trinity Missionary and African Princess Evelyn Komuntale. Not only will you see the work of Outreach To Africa, you will be able to have hands on participation in a variety of projects. Whatever your God-given talent or passion, it can be utilized to make a difference for the vulnerable.
