howweworship
Ultimately the purpose of the Church is to worship the One who is the Head of the Church – Jesus Christ (Col. 1:18). How do we do this? Worship in a sense is a verb; an action between a believer and God that consists of expressing our love, devotion and commitment to Him. Here at Harbor Trinity Church, we worship God in a variety of ways through prayer, tithe, Scripture, fellowship, communion, and in song. Our worship is for God, not man. God is the focus. God is the consumer. God is the audience. One’s expression of worship might differ than others, but the heart of worship and Whom we worship, is central.
Psalm 29:1-2
1 Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
