Events Camp Dates July 12 - 16 '10 (Summer) Ponderosa Pines, Running Springs February 12-14, '10 (Winter) Forest Home, Forest Falls Upper Elementary children have the opportunity to attend summer and winter camps.  The purpose of camp is to take kids away from their every day environment and challenge them to see themselves and God in new ways.  Being in the midst of His creation and enjoying age-appropriate activities, music and lessons can produce God-size thoughts and decisions in young people.  We place camps as high priority activities in the area of discipleship. SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS Ponderosa Pines is our summer get away in Running Springs.  Check out the camp website at www.pondo.org.  The lessons are led by by Kurt Johnson (a.k.a. Mr. J) with rockin’ music, drama and games.  Kurt has more than 30 years experience and can hold an audience of 300 kids and adults spell bound.  His songs are current, fun, God-centered and led by a full band.  Songs like “Don’t Put The Book Down”  and “Jesus Is Enough” challenge and encourage kids as they replay in their heads and hearts.  Activities outside of chapel include the zip-line, hiking, swimming, field games, crafts and just hanging out with other Christian friends.  There is free time to catch pollywogs or look at the millions of stars each night.  Camp is an opportunity that will be long remembered as special times with Jesus. The required Medical Release forms can be downloaded by clicking here.    A non-refundable $50 deposit will guarantee a place at camp.  Total cost for the week is $269.  Final payments are due the Sunday before we leave.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Children’s Ministries office at (714) 556-7787x23 e-mail lynn@harbortrinity.org.
