The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.  For the last 9 years Harbor Trinity Church has participated in Operation Christmas Child a ministry of Samaritan's Purse.  It is a simple mission project that anyone can do.  We prepare gifts for children and the ministry delivers the gifts to impoverished children around the world in Jesus' name.  The shoe boxes are used as evangelistic tools by missionaries and pastors.  Over sixty one million children in 130 nations have received gifts since the ministry was starting in 1993.  The goal this year is 8 million world wide and our goal is 300 from HTC.  Another way to support the project is to help in the in the Distribution Center.  Volunteers (7th grade and up) may serve on Thursday, December 4 from 6 – 10pm.  Pre-registration is required.
