NAVIGATORS This group is open to senior adults (and others also). We meet every Sunday morning at 9am in the Lounge for fellowship, prayer, a hymn, and an in-depth study through God’s Word. This fall we will study through the book of Matthew using the Lifeway Explore the Bible series which provides an excellent study resource. ENCOUNTERS The Encounters Class is open to active families and meets weekly in a relaxed setting to study, learn, and apply God’s Word to our everyday lives. We will begin a new study in the book of James in September. So if you are looking for an in-depth, life application oriented Bible study; and a family you can pray, laugh, and have fun with, the Encounters Class is just the group for you. SONSHINE LADIES This group is open to single ladies, or whose husbands do not attend church. As HTC is reading through the Bible in 2007, this group will study the Scripture as it pertains to the reading schedule each week. We will discuss what we have learned, questioned, or didn't quite understand. There are NO unaskable questions in this class! NOOMA NOOMA is a collection of short films that communicate God’s Word in a powerful way. Each NOOMA touches on issues that we care about and want to talk about. Membership This five week course is a great way to understand what Harbor Trinity is all about. You will learn about the fundamental truths of the Christian faith, essential doctrines, our by-laws, constitution, and membership covenant. YOUNG FAMILIES GROUP The young families group is new and exciting and open to couples with babies and/or toddlers! We meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 4pm. We are a group of young families who encourage each other to grow as Godly parents, spouses, and in our own personal walks with the Lord through fellowship and study of the Word. "Building Your House on the Lord," will be the study we will be going through until November, and then we'll choose another family focused study – cost: $5 for study book. Young Marrieds This group is great way for young married couples without children to experience the joys and struggles of marriage together. The group meets every week for fellowship, accountability, and study that pertains to marriage through God’s eyes. MEN OF THE BIBLE (MOB) The MOB group meets every Tuesday morning year round and is open to men ages 18 and up. This group meets for prayer, fellowship, accountability and finally the Bible study itself. We will be studying through the Book of Romans that will last approximately 20 weeks starting September 4th. If you wish, you can purchase a study guide for $8 at the meeting. WOMEN'S MORNING STUDY This group is offered to all ladies. We will learn about how our words can be beneficial or destructive, by studying Scripture, applying it, holding each other accountable, & praying for each other. HEAVEN As the years pass and we watch more and more of our family, friends and mentors pass away, it is only natural to ask questions about heaven. We will be hosting a discussion group of the book entitled, “Heaven,” by Randy Alcorn. As Alcorn addresses our most serious questions about heaven, we will develop a deeper understanding of our eternal destination and will find the courage to strive for heaven while we're living on earth – cost of book: $18.00. PARENTING TEENS If you are a parent of a teen, this group is custom tailored for you. The group helps you develop parenting skills through shared experiences, biblical examples and relevant resources. This group gives practical insight to guide children/teens toward fulfillment of their identities in Christ. The fall schedule will include weekly discussions on teen issues aided with presentations by school counselors, county and city youth workers, internet specialists and interaction with the HTC youth pastor. Also, the book “Parenting Teens A Field Guide, Leading Your Child to Godly Adulthood” will be used as a relevant guide in the fall. WOMEN’S EVENING STUDY This class is open to all the ladies of HTC ages 18 and up. We meet during AWANA, so drop off your children and join us. We have great fellowship, food and fun as we look into God's word. We have a very supportive group of ladies who are welcoming and faithful prayer partners. ALPHA What is the purpose of life? What happens when we die? How can I be sure of my faith? These questions and more are answered in this practical course on the Christian faith. The format includes a DVD presentation followed by a discussion of that night’s topic. Questions are welcome. This is a great course for those wanting to know more about the Christian faith or to strengthen their foundation. REVELATION This group aims to study the great book of Revelation as well as end time events. theGAP Standing for Graduates and Professionals, theGAP studies through Scripture chapter by chapter, book by book. Psalms & Proverbs We will be studying through the Psalms and the Book of Proverbs, applying the Scripture to our lives and holding each other accountable. TRAVELING LIGHT We all lug loads we were never intended to carry: Fear, Worry, Discontentment. No wonder we get so weary. We’re worn out from carrying that excess baggage. Wouldn’t it be nice to lose some of those bags? With the Twenty-Third Psalm as our guide, Max Lucado’s book, Traveling Light, will show us how we can release some of the burdens we were never intended to bear.
